WINDERMERE LUXURY CAMPING PODS

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

Guests

Guests must take good care of the pod and leave it clean and tidy upon their departure.

Any breakages or damages must be reported as soon as possible.

Guests must not climb any wall or gates – the gates do not swing correctly when they have been swung on and the Lakeland walls are very old and may fall if climbed on.

Guests must not climb or jump off the decking.

Please inform us of any changes to your booking before arrival.

Arrival and Departure

The pod will be available from 3.00pm on your arrival day and must be vacated before 10.00am on the day of your departure.

Payment Arrangements

Full payment is due at the time of booking.  Dogs however are to be paid for on your arrival.

Occupancy

The pod occupancy is based on 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. One of the pods is dog friendly and will accommodate 1 dog – please contact me at time of booking to arrange, either by telephone or email.   We reserve the right to refuse or curtail any booking where it subsequently transpires that information has been withheld form us either by numbers in the party or its composition.

Damages/Breakages/Cleaning

We reserve the right to charge for any damages or for missing items.   Please do not let your dog sleep on the bed or sofa bed – we have provided a dog bed should your dog wish to use it. If any extra cleaning is required other than normal cleaning a charge of £25.00 will be incurred.

Parking

There is allocated parking outside your pod – please note parking is included in the price of your holiday.

Children

Please keep a close eye on your children and do not let them wander about the farm without a responsible adult.  We are very responsible with the safety of our own children on a working farm and we expect the same approach by the adults of children on holiday.   Please do not allow any child to venture to the farm pond without a responsible adult at any time.

Dogs

We accept well behaved dogs.  We provide a dog bed, food and water bowl and a little doggy treat. There are doggy bags and doggy towels in the box on the decking.  Please feel free to use these at no extra charge.  As we are a working farm with livestock in the field’s we request that you keep your dog on a lead at all time when walking around the farm and surrounding areas.  Please respect all livestock, countryside and farmers livelihood.

Linen

Luxury bedding and towels are included in the cost of your holiday.  Extra bedding and towels for the children are stored under the double sofa bed.

Please do not use the towels for cleaning or for drying your dog.

Heating

The cost of the underfloor heating and hot water is included in the rental price.  Please do not bring any additional electric heating into the pods.  We are only insured for the pod as it is in its current state.  The pods are warm and very cosy and have double insulation so extra heat is not required.

Smoking/BBQ’s/Naked Flames

Smoking is strictly forbidden in the pod, in the doorway or on the decking.  Guests are permitted to smoke outside away from the pods – please dispose of your spent cigarettes in the ash trays provided.

BBQ’s must never be used on the wooden decking area at any time. There is a dedicated BBQ area outside. Please do not leave your BBQ unattended at any time and always extinguish after use.

We do not allow naked flames, tea lights, candles, joss sticks or any fireworks

(inside or out).

Liability

No liability is accepted in respect of loss or damage to the client or any member of the party, their baggage, car or contents resulting from riot, war strikes, adverse weather conditions or sickness or injury or loss or damage by a third party.  This does not exclude liability for the actions of employees, agents, subcontractors of ours as the holiday home owners.  We strongly recommend that you take out your own holiday insurance cover for your stay.

Complaints Procedure

Please let us know ASAP if you feel that there are reasonable grounds for complaint about your holiday accommodation.  We will do everything within our power should an issue arise. If there is a repair or fault we will endeavour to rectify as soon as we are able.  No complaints will be considered after the completion of your holiday.

Access

The pod should be available for access by his/her representative at any reasonable time for essential maintenance or annual Quality Grading inspection.  This will be made by prior arrangement.

Cancellation

We do not provide holiday cancellation insurance and we would strongly suggest that you take this out separately.  If for any reason you need to cancel your holiday you must confirm in writing by email: barkerknott@gmail.com

Cancellation will only take effect once when we have received written confirmation.  Once your booking has been accepted by us, it can only be changed to another date, by treating your original booking as a cancellation.

Cancellation by ourselves.

If for any reason your accommodation becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances and no alternative is available all monies shall be returned in full and we shall not be under any other liability.

Payment

Payment will be accepted via our website by either debit/ credit card.

Property Information.

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided either verbally or written all representations have been made in good faith, no such representations will create any liability on the part of us.

Internet Usage Policy.

Our Obligation:  We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that you are provided with an internet connection  but we will not be liable for the service if this becomes unavailable at any time for any period, nor for any loss of data or damage to the equipment you suffer as a result of using our service.  We may suspend access ay any time due to routine or emergency maintenance or service.  We therefore strongly recommend that you save your work.

Your Obligation to us: The service provided is intended to be used for general purposes, for accessing the World Wide Web, email, messaging and chat. Please ensure that you use the services responsibly and behave in a lawful, honest and proper manner whilst accessing the service.  We may terminate at any time your use of this service without notice if we become aware of any illegal misuse.

Data Protection

Any personal data requested and collected is solely for the satisfactory completion of the transaction between you as the holiday maker(s) and us as the supplier of the premises.  Your information is never provided to any other party or entity and is only used in strict accordance with the UK Data Protection Act.

Discrepancies

In the case of a discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions and any other information about Windermere Luxury Camping Pods, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.  We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
